“For 10 years, parents here, families here, and former students have been asking for attention to our aging facilities, roofs, and parking lots,” said Maisie Howard, a Southern High School cluster parent. “The superintendent has brought forward a recommendation that includes a systemic renovation to Southern High School and a planned future renovation to Southern Middle School. I ask that you track this line item and ensure that the money finally comes to help the schools here.”
